A Private Event means a total buyout of the restaurant for that evening, and it does include use of the dining room, outdoor terrace, and access to the outside sculpture garden.  Gertrude’s can accommodate up to 180 guests for a stationed food event; and up to 120 guests for a plated dinner within the dining room.  The earliest a private event may begin is 6pm. Please note we do not host Private Events during the daytime.

Contrary to other venues with pre-set menus and a strict vendor list, we welcome your individual taste and style. Our chefs love to create custom menus, and our in-house coordinator will tailor your event to your imagination. We have everything on site for “one-stop shopping:” the tables, chairs, table linens, china, silverware, glassware, food, and bar are all included when booking.
